I am a Research Scientist at the University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute (USC ISI). I received my Ph.D. and M.Sc. in computer science from Rutgers University working with Prof. Ahmed Elgammal, and my B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran. My research explores the theory and application of deep generative models in image and video processing, and has revealed and resolved various limitations in these models.
